So...I am pretty much a sham. A dud. Whatever you want to call it, I have really dropped the ball on something. It's actually very exciting news!
I'm pregnant!
Sike! Or psyche? How do you spell that in that context? Doesn't matter, because I'm
not pregnant.
BUT! Something very exciting IS going to happen to me! Beginning of 2011 I will be a new person. You
heard me. This sister, daughter, friend, wife, mother extrordinaire is turning into a full fledged AUNT!
I know, right? Pretty legit.
Here's the part where I dropped the ball though. I forgot to mention this until just now! It's not like my sis peed on the stick yesterday, contrare, she is in fact 18 weeks along! AND as if that isn't awesome enough, she found out yesterday what she is having. AND to make things even MORE awesome, she found out her fetus has MAN PARTS! Did you hear me? Man parts! As in, it's NOT A GIRL!
I was beginning to think this family couldn't do anything
but girls, but we are so super stoked to have a little man in our midst. Besides our dad and the son in laws, they don't count :)
SO. I am embarking on an adventure unknown to me until now. I've been a mom, now I get to be an aunt. And I could not be more excited!
But since I'm not the one birthing him, I guess I should give a shout out to the one who is! CONGRATS AMBER AND ERIK! You're going to be super duper parents. And I am, of course, going to be a super duper aunt to your little stud. And him and Little Miss will grow up being the best of friends. Oh and just a word of advice, I would invest in some of those peepee teepees. Take it from someone who has been sprayed by urine, it ain't pretty. And Ruby's a
girl! Imagine what those little boy parts could do!
PS: What's that? You want to see a picture of Amber's adorable-way-smaller-than-i-will-ever-be-at-18-weeks-along-baby-bump? And photos showcasing that he is in fact a little man? Well ask and ye shall receive!
So cute.
